The Jökulsárlón Iceberg Lagoon (a day trip east from Vik, along the southern coast) is an amazing place. The films ‘Die Another Day’', ‘A View to a Kill’, and ‘Tomb Raider’ were filmed there. If you are ever in Iceland a visit to this icy wonder is highly recommended.
